The Book of Life records those who are partakers of everlasting life. It appears in the same verse as our Lord “the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world”. Therefore, and at least, from the foundation of this world the Book of Life was instituted in Heaven. It is God’s desire that all of our names appear in this Book.
