Double The Blessings [Adar]

THE DOUBLE RAINBOW:

Just in the nick of time I recently experienced this rare phenomenon. It was a clear day and only for the second time in my life, was I fortunate to lift my gaze toward the beauty of a Double Rainbow. The most visible Rainbow was a perfectly formed arch, stretching from the north-east and curving to the edge of the south-eastern sky. The Sight hung long enough for a snap-shot I took as a sudden shower of rain blew by. I thought I could take a clearer shot when the rain ceased. But immediately afterwards, the sky was clear – the rainbows were gone. What could this rare formation be telling us?

I believe the Double Rainbow is reflecting and indicating the Season we have begun. We are now in the Double Adar. The Double Adar occurs in a Year where there are two Adars on the Calendar that is followed by God’s First Assembly, Israel, and by those of us who have aligned with Israel in the seasonal rhythms of The Kingdom of God.

The month of Adar always signifies a time of joy, of optimism, of good tidings. And, as the final month of winter, Adar points to spring. Spring speaks of a renewal and a restart. With the Double Adar, sentiments of joy, optimism and the hope of God’s blessing are intensified.

Very likely, the Double Rainbow tells us: It is the Season to really lean-in to God and, by faith, to thank Him for the renewal and for the new blessings still on the horizon.
